Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounce bag of medium egg noodles
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 10.75 ounce can of tomato soup
  • 10.5 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup (cream of chicken can be substituted)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of dried onion flakes
  • ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare Oven and Baking Dish: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside.
  2. Cook the Noodles: Cook the medium egg noodles according to the package directions until al dente, then drain well and set aside.
  3. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Once fully cooked, drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  4. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken if using), milk, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, dried onion flakes, and additional salt and pepper.
  5. Combine Noodles and Beef with Sauce: Add the cooked egg noodles and browned ground beef to the bowl with the sauce mixture. Stir together until everything is well combined.
  6. Bake: Spread the noodle mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. If the top begins to dry out or crisp excessively, cover with aluminum foil during the last few minutes of baking.
  7. Final Touch: After removing from the oven, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the casserole before serving.
