Description

Honey Simple Syrup is a versatile and natural sweetener that you can use in a variety of drinks and desserts. This syrup is incredibly easy to make with just two ingredients: honey and water. It’s perfect for adding a touch of natural sweetness to your teas, lemonades, cocktails, and even your morning pancakes.

By making your own honey syrup at home, you can ensure that it’s free from any additives or preservatives, giving you a healthier alternative to store-bought syrups. Plus, it stores well in the refrigerator, so you can always have a jar ready for your sweetening needs.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup honey (350g)
1 cup water

Instructions

Combine the honey and water in a saucepan. Swirl them together or stir with a wooden spoon or a rubber spatula.
Heat the ingredients over medium heat on the stovetop. You want to heat it until the honey has melted into the water. You do not want to boil it, so keep your eyes peeled. This should take less than 5 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, and let it cool.
When the homemade honey syrup has come to room temperature, pour it into a mason jar, and screw on the lid. Store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
