Oil for frying
1 onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1/3 cup soy sauce
34 tbsp honey, to taste
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp Hoisin sauce or Oyster sauce
½ cup water
500 g noodles, cooked
Sliced spring onions, for garnish

Instructions

Fry the onion and garlic in a large pan until fragrant. Add soy sauce, honey, Hoisin/Oyster sauce, vinegar, and water. Bring to a simmer and reduce by half.
Heat oil in a pot over high heat for frying. Coat the steak strips in seasoned flour, shaking off excess, and fry until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
