Description

This Iced Thai Tea Limeade is a refreshing fusion of flavors, blending the bold taste of Thai tea with the tangy zing of lime and the creamy richness of coconut milk. It’s a perfect drink for warm days, offering a unique combination of sweetness and tartness in every sip. The addition of sweetened condensed milk adds just the right amount of indulgence, making this drink a satisfying treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup iced Thai tea (use your favorite brand)
1/2 cup full-fat coconut milk
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lime juice

Instructions

Prepare the Thai tea according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool.
Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in the iced Thai tea, coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and lime juice. Stir well to combine.
To make it better:
Add 2 star anise pods, 2 whole cardamom pods, and 2 whole cloves to the shaker. Mix the ingredients as instructed, and strain out the spices before serving.
To make it best (with lemongrass simple syrup):
In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar dissolves completely.
Remove from heat and add 1/4 cup sliced lemongrass stalks. Cover and steep for 30 minutes. Strain out the lemongrass.
Sweeten the limeade by adding 1 teaspoon of lemongrass syrup at a time, adjusting the sweetness to taste.
