  • Author: Dulcia
  • Total Time: 1 hour 10 minutes (including chilling time)
  • Yield: 8-10 1x

Description

The Key Lime Pie Fruit Dip is a refreshing and tangy treat that captures the essence of the classic Key lime pie in a light and creamy dip. The blend of marshmallow fluff and sweetened condensed milk creates a rich and smooth base, while the key lime juice and lime zest add a zesty, citrusy punch. The dip is then folded with fluffy whipped cream, giving it a light, airy texture that’s perfect for pairing with fresh fruits and sweet crackers.

Ingredients

Scale

½ cup marshmallow fluff or marshmallow creme
⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
¼ cup key lime juice (bottled or fresh)
1 tbsp lime zest, plus extra for garnish
1 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

Mix the Base:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the marshmallow fluff, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until well combined.
Whip the Cream:
In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. This may take about 3-4 minutes.
Combine and Chill:
Gently fold the whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture until fully incorporated and smooth.
Cover the dip and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours, to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve:
Before serving, top the dip with extra lime zest for a burst of color and flavor. Serve with fresh strawberries, pineapple slices, graham crackers or Nilla wafers.
