Korean Ground Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean) π₯©
3 garlic cloves, minced π§
1 Tablespoon olive oil π«
1 red bell pepper, diced πΆοΈ
1 zucchini, sliced π₯
1/2 cup sugar snap peas π’
1/2 cup shredded carrots π₯
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced π
1/2 cup packed brown sugar π¬
1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce π₯’
1 Tablespoon sesame oil π₯
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger πΏ
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes πΆοΈ
1/2 teaspoon pepper π§
Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish π±
Instructions
1οΈβ£ In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and garlic, breaking it into crumbles over medium heat until no longer pink. Remove the ground beef and set aside on a plate. π³
2οΈβ£ Drain the grease and add 1 Tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Add bell pepper, zucchini, snap peas, carrots, and mushrooms. SautΓ© for 2-3 minutes or until tender. Add the ground beef back to the skillet. π½οΈ
3οΈβ£ In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and pepper. Pour over the ground beef mixture and let it simmer for another minute or two. π₯
