Description

The London Fog Tea Latte is a wonderfully cozy and fragrant drink that blends the robust flavors of Earl Grey tea with the calming floral notes of lavender. Sweetened with honey and enriched with frothy milk, this tea latte is a perfect afternoon treat or a warm drink to enjoy on a chilly day. The addition of vanilla adds a layer of sweetness that enhances the creamy texture of the drink.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup boiling water
12 Earl Grey tea bags
2 pinches dried lavender buds
½ cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
1 tablespoon honey (or granulated sugar)
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Brew the Tea:
Add the Earl Grey tea bags to a heatproof mug that holds at least 12 ounces. Add the dried lavender buds, then pour in the boiling water. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes.
Remove Tea and Lavender:
After steeping, remove the tea bags, squeezing out any liquid, and use a spoon to remove the lavender buds.
Froth the Milk:
If you have a handheld immersion blender, combine the brewed tea, honey, warm milk, and vanilla extract in a wide-mouth mason jar. Blend for about 1 minute until frothy and well combined.
If you don’t have an immersion blender, pour the brewed tea, honey, warm milk, and vanilla into a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds until frothy.
Serve:
Pour the frothy tea mixture back into your mug and serve immediately. Enjoy your creamy and fragrant London Fog Tea Latte!
