Description

This Mango Lemonade is the ultimate summer refreshment, combining the sweet, juicy flavor of ripe mangoes with the tartness of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The result is a bright and vibrant drink, perfect for cooling down on a hot day. With the addition of homemade simple syrup, this lemonade is perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy, making each sip a tropical delight.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup sugar
1 cup water (for simple syrup)
2 ripe mangoes (or enough to make 1 cup mango pulp)
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups chilled water
Ice

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves completely, and the syrup turns clear. Once done, remove from heat and let the simple syrup cool completely.
Slice the mangoes, scoop out the flesh, and discard the pit and skin. In a blender or food processor, blend the mango flesh until smooth, creating a mango pulp.
In a large pitcher, combine the mango pulp, freshly squeezed lemon juice, simple syrup, and 2 cups of chilled water. Stir well until everything is fully mixed.
To serve, pour the mango lemonade into glasses filled with ice. For an extra touch, garnish with sliced lemons or limes and fresh mint sprigs, if desired. Enjoy!
