Ingredients

Scale

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

1 large egg

½ cup Dixie Crystals Extra Fine Granulated Sugar

¾ cup whole milk

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

½ cup Dixie Crystals Confectioners Powdered Sugar

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) if using mini doughnut pans, or preheat your electric mini-doughnut maker as per manufacturer’s instructions.
In a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Gradually add the sifted dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
Grease your mini doughnut pans. Carefully spoon the batter into each doughnut indentation until ¾ full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 7 to 9 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. If using a doughnut maker, follow the machine’s instructions.
Place powdered sugar in a large plastic bag. Transfer the warm doughnuts into the bag and gently shake until each doughnut is thoroughly coated with powdered sugar.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
