Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
3 cups mixed berries (frozen or fresh) 🍇🍓
1 tablespoon lemon juice 🍋
1 teaspoon lemon zest 🍋
2 tablespoons maple syrup 🍁
2 tablespoons cornstarch 🌽
1 egg (for egg wash) 🥚
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200˚C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 🔥
2️⃣ In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed berries, lemon juice, lemon zest, maple syrup, and cornstarch. Mix well. 🍋🍁
3️⃣ Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut it into 4 rectangles. Place each piece on the baking sheet, ensuring they are 2 inches apart. 📏
4️⃣ Scoop the berry mixture onto the center of each pastry rectangle, leaving about ½-1 inch of space on the edges. Then fold these edges over the berries. 🍓🥄
5️⃣ Brush the edges with egg wash. 🥚
6️⃣ Bake at 400˚F (200˚C) for about 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. ⏳
