In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the sugar and beat until combined.
Add the cream and beat on low until incorporated, then beat on high for 3-4 minutes until thickened and fluffy (don’t stop until stiff peaks form!).
Roughly chop regular-sized creme eggs and add to cheesecake batter, beating on low speed until evenly distributed.
Spread into prepared crust, cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Decorate with sweetened whipped cream and mini creme eggs for garnish if desired.
