By using simple ingredients like Oreo cookie wafers and semisweet chocolate, and adding a hint of mint flavor, you can create a delicious dessert that’s perfect for satisfying those sweet cravings in a hurry.

20 Oreo cookies
12 ounces semisweet chocolate
23 drops crème de menthe oil flavoring or peppermint oil flavoring


Instructions

Carefully separate the Oreo cookies and scrape off the filling. Discard the filling or save it for another use.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semisweet chocolate at 50% power, stirring every 30-60 seconds until smooth. Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in a double boiler on the stove.
Stir the mint flavoring into the melted chocolate until well combined.
Rest a chocolate wafer on the tines of a fork and lower it into the melted chocolate until completely coated.
Tap the fork on the side of the bowl to allow any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Place the coated cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Repeat the process with the remaining chocolate wafers. Refrigerate the cookies until the chocolate is set, about 10-15 minutes.
