Description

These Nutella Rolls are the perfect indulgence for any Nutella lover. The soft, fluffy dough is filled with a decadent mix of Nutella and melted chocolate chips, creating a swirl of rich, creamy goodness in every bite. Topped with a generous drizzle of warm Nutella, these rolls are truly irresistible.

Dough:
2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup warm milk (microwave for 3060 seconds)
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup oil
4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (more or less)
Filling:
3/4 cup Nutella
2 Tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (mini, if possible)
Topping:
1/41/3 cup Nutella, for drizzling


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 baking pan by spraying it with non-stick spray. Set aside.
In a stand mixer (Bosch or KitchenAid), stir together the yeast, warm water, warm milk, and sugar until combined.
Add the egg, salt, oil, and about 2 cups of flour. Beat until smooth.
Gradually add the remaining flour, beating until a soft dough forms. Cover and let the dough rest for 5-10 minutes.
For the filling, melt the butter in the microwave and stir in the chocolate chips until they melt. Add the Nutella, stirring until smooth. If the mixture seems too thick, warm it slightly in the microwave.
On a counter lightly sprayed with non-stick spray, roll out the dough into a 10×15 rectangle.
Spread the Nutella mixture evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough lengthwise and pinch the seam to seal. Use dental floss or thread to cut the dough into 12 equal slices.
Place the slices into the prepared baking pan, cover, and let them rise for 45-60 minutes until doubled in size.
Uncover and bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
While still warm, drizzle the rolls generously with Nutella. Serve and enjoy!
