2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 cups whole milk
1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice (approximately 3 oranges)
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon orange extract
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream, sugar, orange juice, whole milk, orange extract, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
If desired, add food coloring and mix well.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Cover the top of the ice cream with plastic wrap and place it in the freezer for 4-6 hours or overnight to harden.
Let the ice cream sit out for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy!
