Ingredients
For the marinade:
1/2 cup orange juice š
1/4 cup soy sauce š¶
1/4 cup honey šÆ
2 cloves garlic, minced š§
1 tbsp ginger, grated šæ
2 tbsp rice vinegar š
1 tbsp sesame oil š°
1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening) š½
For the salmon:
4 salmon fillets š
2 tbsp olive oil š«
1/4 cup sliced green onions š§
Sesame seeds for garnish š¾
Orange slices for garnish š
Instructions
1ļøā£ In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with a bit of water and add to the marinade. šÆ
2ļøā£ Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the marinade over them. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. šāļø
3ļøā£ Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). š„
4ļøā£ Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon fillets for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. š«
5ļøā£ Pour the remaining marinade over the salmon and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. š
