Description

The Oreo Dirt Cake is a delightful exploration of textures and flavors, artfully layered to create a dessert that’s as visually appealing as it is delicious. This dessert begins with a crunchy, buttery Oreo crust, offering the perfect foundation for the creamy, white chocolate pudding and cream cheese filling that lies above. Each spoonful brings together the rich, smooth filling with the crumbly, chocolatey base, topped with a sprinkle of Oreo crumbs for an added crunch.

Ingredients

Scale

1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
2 small boxes (4 serving size each) Instant white chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
2 tubs (8 oz each) whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

For the Crust:

Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor to fine crumbs. Reserve about 1 cup for topping and transfer the rest to a large bowl.
Mix the melted butter with the crumbs to form a crust.
Press the mixture into a 13×9 baking dish. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.

For the Filling:

Whisk together the instant pudding and milk until smooth, then refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to set.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until combined.
Fold in whipped topping, then incorporate the set pudding.
Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust and sprinkle with reserved Oreo crumbs.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight until set.
