Description

Pan Fried Cinnamon Bananas are a simple yet delightful way to elevate your breakfast or dessert. The combination of ripe bananas, warm cinnamon, rich butter, and sweet honey creates a caramelized treat that’s both comforting and indulgent. In just a few minutes, you can transform ordinary bananas into a golden brown topping that’s perfect over ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or French toast.

Ingredients

Scale

2 bananas, cut into 1/2” pieces
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons raw honey or regular honey

Instructions

In a frying pan over medium-high heat, combine the butter, honey, and cinnamon. Stir until the butter is melted and the ingredients are well combined.
Add the banana slices to the pan. Cook for about 4 minutes, or until the bottoms start to caramelize and turn golden brown. Adjust the heat and cooking time as needed to prevent burning.
Flip all the banana pieces and cook for another 4 minutes, until the other side is also golden brown and caramelized.
Serve immediately over ice cream, yogurt, pancakes, or French toast for a deliciously sweet topping.
