Ingredients
5–6 medium potatoes π₯ (see notes)
Cooking spray πΏ
1 tsp salt π§
4 tbsp Parmesan cheese π§
1–2 tsp truffle oil π°
Instructions
1οΈβ£ Wash the potatoes and cut them unpeeled. You can use a knife or a potato chipper. Wash the cut potatoes again or better yet soak them in cold water for 10-20 minutes if time allows. Then drain and dry them thoroughly with a kitchen towel. There should be no moisture left on the surface of your potatoes. π₯π§Ό
2οΈβ£ Spray them with an oil spray all over, shake and spray again until evenly coated, then season with salt. πΏπ§
3οΈβ£ Put your seasoned potatoes into the basket of an air fryer, select the Air Fry option and cook for 10 minutes. β²οΈ
4οΈβ£ Take the basket out, shake the potatoes very well, drizzle with the truffle oil and cook for 8-10 minutes longer until the potatoes are golden on the outside and cooked all the way through. π°π
5οΈβ£ 2 minutes before the fries are done, open the air fryer and sprinkle with 2 tbsp of grated Parmesan cheese, then cook until the cheese is melted. π§β²οΈ
6οΈβ£ Sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese before serving. π§π½οΈ
Alternatively, you can use frozen fries and either air fry them for 6-8 minutes or oven cook them according to package instructions. Add the truffle oil and grated Parmesan in the last 2 minutes, so the truffle scent doesnβt evaporate. π°ππ§
