For the Bars:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
21 ounces peach pie filling
For the Cheesecake Layer:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
For the Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon almond extract


Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 pan.
For the batter: Cream together 1 cup of butter and 2 cups of sugar. Add 4 eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla, then mix. Incorporate 3 cups of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Spread half of this mixture evenly in the pan.
For the cheesecake layer: In another bowl, beat together 8 ounces of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 egg until smooth. Spread this mixture over the batter in the pan.
Layering: Spoon over the cheesecake layer 21 ounces of peach pie filling. Then add dollops of the remaining batter on top.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown. Allow it to cool completely.
For the glaze: Combine 1 cup of powdered sugar with 2 tablespoons of milk and 1 teaspoon of almond extract. Drizzle this glaze over the cooled bars.
Cut into bars and enjoy!
