2 cans (15 ounce each) sliced peaches in 100% juice, drained
2 containers (8 ounces/8 count each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup butter
⅔ cup brown sugar, packed
⅔ cup granulated sugar
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
1 ½ cups Sprite soda
Topping: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Unroll crescent roll dough, separate into triangles. Place 1-2 peach slices at the wide end of each triangle, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon, and roll up.
Place dumplings in the baking dish. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter, add sugars and 2 teaspoons cinnamon; mix well. Spoon over dumplings.
Pour Sprite around dumplings. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
