Description

Peanut Butter Blossom Bars are a delightful twist on the classic cookie, combining the rich flavor of peanut butter with the sweet decadence of milk chocolate. Each bar is crowned with a Hershey’s Kiss, making them as visually appealing as they are delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
24 Hershey’s Kisses

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, and egg. Mix until well combined.
Stir in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and milk chocolate chips until a soft dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle a little extra granulated sugar over the top for a slight crunch.
Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Immediately after removing from the oven, gently press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each square.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares, with each square containing a Hershey’s Kiss in the center.
Store the bars in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
