- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup whipped cream or Cool Whip
- 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1½ cups milk
- 2 cups sweetened whipped cream or 8 oz Cool Whip
Instructions
- Make the Peanut Butter Crumbles: In a small bowl, mix ½ cup powdered sugar with ¼ cup creamy peanut butter using a fork until crumbly. Adjust texture with additional sugar or peanut butter if necessary. Set aside half for later use.
- Prepare the Peanut Butter Filling: In a medium bowl, whisk the instant vanilla pudding mix, 1½ cups of milk, and ½ cup creamy peanut butter for about 2 minutes until thick and smooth. Ensure no lumps remain.
- Fold in Whipped Cream: Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped cream or Cool Whip into the peanut butter pudding mixture to keep it light and fluffy.
- Assemble the Pie: Sprinkle half of the peanut butter crumbles at the base of the pie crust. Add the filling evenly over the crumbles. Finish by topping the pie with whipped cream, spreading or piping as desired.
- Refrigerate the Pie: Chill the pie for at least 2 hours to solidify. Before serving, sprinkle the reserved peanut butter crumbles over the top.
