Description

This creamy Peanut Butter Syrup is a breakfast game-changer! Perfectly smooth and rich, it brings the delicious combination of peanut butter and sweetness to your pancakes or waffles. The warm butter and vanilla add an extra layer of flavor, making each bite irresistible.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tbsp all-purpose flour (*or 1/4 cup brown rice flour for a gluten-free option)
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp butter

Instructions

Whisk dry ingredients:
In a small saucepan, whisk together the flour (or brown rice flour for gluten-free) and sugar.
Add milk and cook:
Pour in the milk and set the stove to medium heat. Whisk until smooth, stirring frequently as the mixture heats. Continue cooking until the sauce begins to bubble and thickens, about 3 minutes.
Add peanut butter:
Whisk in the peanut butter until it’s fully melted into the sauce.
Finish the syrup:
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Add the butter and whisk until melted and fully combined.
Serve:
Pour the warm peanut butter syrup over hot waffles or pancakes and enjoy!
