- 4 large eggs, divided
- ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1½ cups light corn syrup

- 1½ cups finely chopped pecans

- Make the Crust: Reserve ⅔ cup of the cake mix for the filling. Combine the remaining cake mix with melted butter and one egg in a mixing bowl. Spread this mixture evenly in the prepared pan, forming the base of your bars. Bake for 13-15 minutes, or until the crust is lightly browned.
- Prepare the Filling: In a separate bowl, mix the reserved cake mix, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and the remaining three eggs. Whisk these ingredients together for about 2 minutes, or until well combined.
