- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups finely chopped pecans
- 2 cups unsalted butter, softened
- 12 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Pans Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Have small tart pans ready, ungreased.
- Make the Filling In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir in the finely chopped pecans and set the mixture aside.
- Make the Dough In another bowl, blend together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the flour, mixing after each cup until well combined.
- Form the Dough Cups Scoop out the dough in small portions, rolling into balls. Place each ball into a section of the tart pans. Press down in the center to form a cup shape.
- Fill the Cups Using a small spoon, fill each dough cup with the pecan filling, being cautious not to overfill.
