Ingredients
For the filling:
1 lb lean ground beef
2 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 cup mushrooms, diced
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 ½ cups beef broth
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
For serving:
4 brioche buns, toasted
4 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
1️⃣ In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and brown the ground beef. Drain the excess fat. 🍖
2️⃣ Add the diced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender. 🧅🌶️🍄
3️⃣ Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine. 🥫
