Scale

1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, chopped or sliced (green or red or both)
1 cup beef broth
¼ cup A1 sauce
1 teaspoon steak seasoning
Sliced provolone cheese
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
Buns of your choice

Instructions

n a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the diced onions and chopped green pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened.
Stir in the salt, pepper, cornstarch, beef broth, A1 sauce, and steak seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes as the sauce thickens. Remove from heat.
Preheat the broiler. Butter buns and broil for a few minutes until toasted.
