Ingredients
Garlic Aioli
½ cup mayo
1 clove of garlic, grated
About a tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper
Philly Cheesesteak Tacos
2 flour tortillas
1/2 pound ground sirloin
1 onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 tsp garlic powder
8 slices Provolone cheese
Dash of salt and pepper
Instructions
Garlic Aioli: In a small dish, combine mayo, grated garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions and red pepper until soft and slightly caramelized.
Season ground sirloin with salt, pepper, and garlic powder thoroughly mixed. Divide the meat into two equal portions and press onto one side of each tortilla.
Heat a grill pan or skillet over high heat and place tortillas, meat side down, pressing slightly. Cook for about 8 minutes or until the meat is fully cooked and browned.
Flip the tortillas, top with sautéed onions, peppers, and four slices of Provolone cheese each. Cover with foil or place under a broiler to melt the cheese until bubbly.
Remove from heat, drizzle with garlic aioli, fold into a taco shape, and serve immediately.
