Ingredients
Your favorite pancake batter
1 pineapple ring for each pancake, gently dried
1 cherry for each pancake, gently dried
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Heat a small amount of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Pour in your pancake batter, forming a pancake of your desired size.
Let the pancake cook for a minute or two until the sides begin to set up and bubbles form on the surface.
Gently place a pineapple ring in the center of the pancake, and fill the center of the ring with a cherry.
Once the first side is cooked and golden brown, gently flip the pancake to cook the second side, being careful not to displace the fruit.
Cook until the second side is golden brown and the pancake is cooked through.
Serve the pancakes warm with a dusting of powdered sugar and a drizzle of maple syrup.
