Ingredients

Scale

1 package Sara Lee Pound Cake Slices
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter or margarine
Powdered sugar (optional)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
Melt the butter in a skillet or pan over medium heat.
Dip each slice of pound cake into the egg mixture, making sure to coat all sides. Shake off any excess mixture.
Add the coated pound cake slices to the skillet and cook for 1-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
