- 4 large eggs (1 egg and 3 eggs separated)
- 8 ounces unsalted butter (2 sticks melted)
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
- 8 ounces cream cheese (super soft)

- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9″ or 10″ round cake pan or springform pan with parchment paper and grease it with cooking spray.
- Step 2: In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 1 egg. Blend until smooth and pour into the prepared pan to form a base.
- Step 3: In a clean mixer bowl, blend the pumpkin puree, cream cheese, 3 eggs, remaining 1/2 cup melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Mix until smooth and pour over the cake base.
