Pumpkin Magic Bars are the ultimate fall dessert, combining layers of spiced pumpkin, rich butterscotch chips, crunchy toffee bits, and chopped pecans. The sweetened condensed milk binds everything together, creating a creamy, gooey texture that contrasts perfectly with the crisp crust and nutty topping. Each bite is an explosion of fall flavors with a touch of sweetness and warmth that will leave you reaching for another.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of fine sea salt
For the Pumpkin Magic Bar Layers:
1 cup pumpkin pie filling
11 ounces butterscotch chips
1 cup toffee bits
2 cups chopped pecans
14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
Pumpkin Pie Spice:
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 11×7-inch baking dish with foil and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add the flour, pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of fine sea salt. Mix until combined with no dry patches remaining.
Press the crust mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes, or until it no longer looks raw and is lightly browned.
Spread the pumpkin pie filling over the baked crust.
Layer the butterscotch chips evenly over the pumpkin.
Next, layer the toffee bits on top, followed by the chopped pecans.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the entire surface of the bars.
Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Let the bars cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate before cutting them into bars. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
