Description

These Quick & Easy Sheet Pan Breadsticks are a game-changer for busy weeknights or when you need a simple yet delicious side dish. The dough comes together in just a few minutes and is topped with a generous layer of melted butter, garlic, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Baked to golden perfection, these breadsticks are soft on the inside and slightly crisp on the edges, making them an irresistible treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1½ cups warm water (105° – 115°F)
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp yeast
3¾ cups all-purpose flour
⅓ cup melted butter
½ cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
1 tsp garlic salt
1½ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, sugar, and salt. Let the mixture rest for 5-10 minutes until it becomes bubbly.
Using the dough hook attachment on your mixer, gradually add the flour. Mix until the dough forms a loose ball.
Cover the mixing bowl with a dish towel and allow the dough to proof for 30-45 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare a sheet pan by lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Pour half of the melted butter onto the bottom of the pan.
Place the dough in the center of the sheet pan. Starting from the middle, press the dough outward toward the edges until it covers the bottom of the pan.
Pour the remaining melted butter over the top of the dough, ensuring the entire surface is covered. Evenly sprinkle Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning over the top.
Let the dough rest for 15-20 minutes, allowing it to rise to about 1-inch thick.
Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough into breadsticks of your preferred size.
Bake the breadsticks for 18-20 minutes, or until they are lightly golden around the edges.
Remove from the oven and let the breadsticks cool for a few minutes before serving.
