  • Author: Dulcia

  • Yield: 8 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded 🍗
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened 🧈
2 tablespoons milk 🥛
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 🧄
1/4 teaspoon onion powder 🌰
Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
1 tablespoon melted butter (optional for brushing on top) 🧈
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) 🌿

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. 🔥

2️⃣ In a mixing bowl, blend together the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. 🥄

3️⃣ Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles on a flat surface. 📜

4️⃣ Spoon a generous portion of the chicken mix onto the wider end of each crescent triangle. 🍗

5️⃣ Gently roll the dough from the wide end to the point, ensuring the filling stays tucked inside. Place each roll-up on the prepared baking sheet. 🌀

6️⃣ If desired, brush the top of each roll-up with melted butter for a golden glow and extra richness. ✨

7️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and sound hollow when tapped. 🍞⏳

8️⃣ If you’ve chosen to garnish, sprinkle a little chopped fresh parsley over the hot roll-ups for a burst of color and freshness. 🌿
