Description

Raspberry Peach Lemonade is the perfect summer refresher, blending the natural sweetness of ripe peaches and raspberries with the tangy zing of freshly squeezed lemon juice. This fruity drink is made even more refreshing with ice-cold water and a touch of simple syrup for balance. The result is a vibrant and cooling lemonade that’s perfect for warm afternoons, outdoor gatherings, or just a relaxing sip by the pool.

Ingredients

Scale

Raspberry Peach Puree:
4 fresh peaches, pitted and diced into large chunks
1 cup fresh raspberries
1¼ cups water
Simple Syrup:
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup water
Lemonade:
7 cups cold water
1¼ cups fresh lemon juice (from approximately 4 lemons)
Ice cubes
Additional raspberries (for garnish, optional)
Additional peach slices (for garnish, optional)
Mint sprigs (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Make the Raspberry Peach Puree:
In a blender or food processor, add the diced peaches, raspberries, and water. Blend until the mixture is smooth and fully pureed.
Strain the Puree:
Place a sieve over a large mixing bowl. Pour the peach-raspberry puree into the sieve and use the back of a spoon to press the puree, allowing the liquid to pass through while leaving the seeds and skin behind. Discard the solids and set the strained liquid aside.
Make the Simple Syrup:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the granulated sugar and ½ cup water. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves. Allow the mixture to boil for about 3 minutes until it becomes slightly syrupy. Set aside to cool.
Mix the Lemonade:
In a large pitcher, combine the cold water, fresh lemon juice, and ice cubes. Stir well to mix. Pour in the cooled simple syrup and the raspberry peach puree. Stir again until fully combined.
Serve:
Store the lemonade in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve chilled with optional garnishes of fresh raspberries, peach slices, and mint sprigs.
