- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (14 oz) refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C), and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onion until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute. Next, incorporate the ground beef along with cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the beef is thoroughly browned and cooked through.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it is melted and well combined with the beef mixture.
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface and cut them into 4-inch diameter circles.
- Spoon the beef and cheese mixture onto the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape and press the edges together with a fork to seal.
