Ingredients
1 lb. ground sausage
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 small yellow onion, diced
2 cups fresh green beans
¾ cup celery, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
2.5 cups chicken broth
10.5 oz. condensed cream of chicken soup
1/3 cup sour cream
¼ cup dried cranberries
14 oz. stuffing mix
½ cup crispy fried onions
Fresh parsley, to garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown the sausage in a large skillet, remove, then melt butter in the same skillet.
Add onions, green beans, and celery, cook until softened. Stir in garlic, salt, and pepper.
Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the pan. Remove from heat.
Mix in cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and cranberries.
Return sausage and stuffing mix to the skillet, stirring until combined.
Transfer to a greased 13” x 9” casserole dish. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Uncover, top with fried onions, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
