Ingredients
Scale
- Butter for greasing the pan
- 1 pack of butter spliter crumbles
- 4 8-ounce blocks of cream cheese, softened
- ½ log of goat cheese at room temperature
- 3 large eggs
- ½ pound boiled shrimp
- 1/3 pound chopped lump crab
- 1/3 pound crawfish tails
- 5 thinly sliced green onions
- Cajun seasoning
- Old Bay seasoning
Instructions
- Preparation: Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter. Take the butter spliter crumbles and press them down at the bottom of the pan using a fork.
- Mixing Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, goat cheese, and eggs. Stir these until the mixture is smooth. To this, add the shrimp, chopped crab, crawfish tails, and thinly sliced green onions. Mix well.
- Seasoning: Season the mixture with Cajun and Old Bay seasonings to taste. Remember that both these seasonings contain salt, so add them sparingly and taste as you go.
- Baking: Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan. Wrap the base of the pan with aluminum foil and place it in a larger baking dish. Pour half a cup of water into the base of the larger dish to create a moist environment during baking. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the cheesecake is browned to your preference.
- Cooling and Serving: After baking, let the cheesecake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing. Transfer it to a serving dish and pair with additional spliters or crostini for spreading.
