1 jalapeno, seeded and diced πΆοΈ
For the dressing:
1 batch Sesame Ginger Dressing π₯£
For serving:
1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds π°
1/3 cup roasted cashews halves π₯
Sesame seeds
Extra cilantro πΏ
Extra green onion π§
A few jalapeno slices πΆοΈ
Optional: Crispy wonton strips π₯
Instructions
1οΈβ£ Marinate the chicken using this grilled sesame chicken recipe. π
2οΈβ£ Make the sesame ginger dressing and set it aside. π₯£
3οΈβ£ Assemble the salad: In a large bowl, add the green and red cabbage, green onion, cilantro, carrots, bell pepper, and jalapeno. Pour dressing all over the salad and toss to combine and coat all the veggies. Cover and set aside while you bake or grill your chicken according to the recipe. π₯
4οΈβ£ Serve the salad: Add salad to a large platter. Garnish with toasted sliced almonds, cashews, extra cilantro, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, a few jalapeno slices, and some additional chopped green onion, if desired. Optionally, add crispy wonton strips. Dig in! π΄
