Description

Indulge in the sweet and comforting flavors of homemade Slow Cooker Pear Butter, a delightful concoction that marries the natural sweetness of pears with a blend of rich spices like cinnamon, allspice, and cloves. This recipe offers an easy way to transform simple ingredients into a luxurious spread that’s perfect on toast, swirled into yogurt, or as a companion to cheeses.

Ingredients

Scale

8 Medium-Sized Pears (cubed, cores and stems removed)
½ Cup Granulated Sweetener (or preferred granulated sugar)
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar Sweetener (or preferred dark brown sugar)
1 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Allspice
1/2 Tsp Ground Cloves
1 Tsp Lemon Juice
1 Tsp Pure Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Place the cubed pears in a greased large slow cooker. Add the rest of the ingredients on top of the pears.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, no stirring needed at this time.
After 4 hours, remove the lid and slightly mash the pears. Transfer into a large blender and blend until completely smooth, about 30 seconds.
Return the blended mixture to the slow cooker, cover slightly ajar, and continue cooking on high for another 3-4 hours until thickened, stirring every 30 minutes.
Allow to cool before storing in glass jars. Refrigerate and use within 3-4 weeks.
