Ingredients
1 ¼ lbs ground turkey
½ jalapeño, finely diced
¼ cup red onion, finely diced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
½ teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/3 cup bread crumbs
4 slices pepper jack cheese
Guacamole, for topping
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, jalapeño, red onion, chili powder, cumin, salt, egg, and breadcrumbs; mix until just combined.
Form the mixture into four patties.
Grease and preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Cook the burgers on the grill for 6-7 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through.
In the last 4 minutes of grilling, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each burger.
