Ingredients
¼ cup cream cheese, room temperature
1 tablespoon sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 (8-inch) tortillas
1 teaspoon unsalted butter, room temperature
½ teaspoon sugar
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Strawberry sauce, to taste
Instructions
In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on one tortilla and place the second tortilla on top to form a sandwich.
Spread the softened butter on the outside of both tortillas.
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the tortilla sandwich for 2-4 minutes per side, or until lightly golden brown and crispy.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Once the quesadilla is done cooking, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
