Ingredients
1 lb. chicken thighs π
2 tablespoon Italian seasoning πΏ
Β½ teaspoon salt π§
Β½ teaspoon black pepper β«οΈ
For the sauce:
2 tablespoon olive oil π«
4 garlic cloves, minced π§
ΒΌ cup California Sun Dry sun-dried tomatoes, sliced π
ΒΎ cup parmesan cheese π§
1 cup milk of choice π₯
Β½ cup water π§
Fresh basil for garnish πΏ
Instructions
1οΈβ£ Mix the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper together, then pour onto a large plate. Coat each chicken thigh with the seasoning. π§π
2οΈβ£ Heat a large skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium heat and sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. You may need to add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the skillet using kitchen tongs. π³
3οΈβ£ In the same skillet, combine all the sauce ingredients (olive oil, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, milk, and water). Reduce heat to medium-low, stirring until the cheese has melted. π§π§π₯
4οΈβ£ Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken. Then, place the cooked chicken back in the skillet and top it with fresh basil. πΏ
