  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp Land O Lakes Spreadable Butter with Olive Oil and Sea Salt, divided
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 medium zucchini, sliced into half moons
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 white onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Season and Coat the Chicken: Season chicken pieces with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Sprinkle cornstarch over the seasoned chicken and toss to coat evenly. Set aside.
  3. Cook the Vegetables: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp of the Land O Lakes Spreadable Butter with Olive Oil and Sea Salt. Stir fry the zucchini, bell pepper, and onion until the vegetables are lightly charred and tender. Remove the vegetables from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Cook the Chicken: Add the remaining 1 tbsp of butter and the sesame oil to the skillet. Add chicken and stir fry until golden brown on all sides and fully cooked. Stir in garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Combine and Simmer: Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and bring to a boil. Let simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens. Return the vegetables to the skillet, toss to coat, and heat through.
