Description

This Tres Leches Bread Pudding takes the classic dessert to a new level of indulgence. With its rich custard base made from a combination of whole milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk, every bite is perfectly soaked and sweet. The chocolate chips melt into the brioche, adding a delightful contrast of creamy richness and a touch of decadence.

Ingredients

Scale

7 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (divided)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 loaf brioche bread, cut into cubes
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish and set it aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, whole milk, evaporated milk, 3/4 of the sweetened condensed milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth and fully combined.
Add the cubed brioche bread to the milk mixture and gently fold until the bread is fully coated with the mixture.
Transfer the bread mixture to the greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the top of the bread mixture.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the bread pudding is golden brown on top and set in the center.
Drizzle the remaining sweetened condensed milk over the warm bread pudding before serving.
Serve warm and enjoy!
