Ingredients
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
2/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
6 Flatbreads or Pita Breads
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 ½ cups sun-dried tomatoes
1 ½ cups baby spinach leaves, torn
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven or air-fryer to 350 degrees F.
In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Stir well.
In a small bowl, mix flour and water to form a slurry. Add to the saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.
Remove sauce from heat and cover to keep warm.
Arrange pita breads on a flat surface. Evenly distribute 3 tablespoons of sauce on each pita, followed by chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. Top with Mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or in the air-fryer for 5-6 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve warm with extra sauce for dipping.
