With the added richness of almond butter and the creaminess of coconut yogurt, each sip is both nourishing and satisfying.


Ingredients

1 large pear, seeded and chopped
1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt
1/4 cup oats
2 medjool dates, pitted
1 tablespoon raw almond butter
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Grated nutmeg (for garnish)


Instructions

Core and roughly chop the pear.
If using fresh ginger, grate it finely.
Add all ingredients, except for the grated nutmeg, into a blender.
Blend on high until smooth and well combined.
Pour the smoothie into a large glass and garnish with a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg on top.
