1 C. Cooked rice
1 lb. Ground beef
1 C. Chicken broth
2 Onions, diced
1 C. Sour cream
2 tsp. Garlic powder
2 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
8 oz. Tomato sauce
1 C. Frozen green peas
Salt, pepper, and oregano to taste


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onions and ground beef until the meat is browned and onions are softened.
Add garlic powder and sauté for another 30 seconds. Drain excess grease.
Season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir in tomato sauce, cooked rice, green peas, chicken broth, and one cup of cheese. Simmer until the cheese melts.
Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, spreading evenly. Bake for 15 minutes.
Combine sour cream with the remaining cheese. Spread this mixture over the casserole. Bake for another 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
