12 ounces cream cheese, softened πŸ§€
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder πŸ§„
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 🌿
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes 🌢️
1 3/4 cups freshly grated Mozzarella cheese, divided πŸ§€
1/2 cup freshly shredded or grated Parmesan cheese πŸ§€
1 pound spicy Italian sausage, cooked and drained 🌭
15 ounce can diced tomatoes, drained πŸ…
3/4 cup pepperoncinis, drained and diced 🌢️
Fresh chopped basil for garnish 🌿
Crostini, toasted bread, or crackers for dipping πŸ₯–


1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Spray a 2 Β½ quart (or 11-inch oval) baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside. πŸ”₯

2️⃣ Combine all ingredients together in a bowl, except for 3/4 cup of Mozzarella and the basil. Mix well. 🍲

3️⃣ Spread the sausage dip into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the reserved Mozzarella on top. Add a little extra Italian seasoning if desired. 🌿

4️⃣ Bake at 350Β°F for 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly. For additional browning of the cheese, switch to the broiler during the last few minutes, but watch closely as it can burn quickly. ⏳
